What is the Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera?
The Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera is an accessory designed to enhance remote collaboration by providing a clear view of the room for remote participants. It features a wide field of view greater than 130 degrees, AI-powered dynamic adjustments to the video feed, digital pan-tilt-zoom capabilities, and high-quality glass optics. It also includes a low light sensor to ensure visibility in various lighting conditions.
How does the AI feature work?
The AI in the Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera automatically adjusts the video feed based on the dynamics of the room. It re-frames the view when someone leaves, when more people enter, or when a participant interacts with the content displayed on the Surface Hub, ensuring that remote participants always have the best possible view.
When will the Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera be available?
The Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera has been available for purchase separately since March 2022. Additionally, it will be included in the box with the Surface Hub 2S 85” starting in March 2022.
